My first time was a waste as well. It's not like if you don't lose your virginity at that exact moment (i.e drunk at a party) then you'll end up being a 40 year old virgin. I would encourage them to do it with someone they actually like when sober. It's fine to have sex when you're young (provided you do it safely) but yeah. Don't waste that shit. You wanna do it with someone who it's going to be as important to as it is to you. Not an ugly slut who puts out every weekend.
It doesn't matter now, but it's still something I think about occasionally.
