Warren, even if striking a woman would magically stop her from being hysterical (it doesn't because I seen my old man do it to my mom) it doesn't prevent all the long term damage it not only does to her but to the kids.

By the way, you are changing your story here. You originally said you would slap your wife if "she got out of line" now it's "if she becomes hysterical"

If two truly love one another, any sort of violence is unecessary in any problem or ocasion. A serious talk can solve things that no beating or fight can, and it might actually boost the trust, love, and relationship bonds with you and your wife. Thoughts like that should NEVER cross your mind, not even the slightest.
At least that's how I see it.

Oh, and I take offense on racism, since my best friend is black. White people have fucked me over more than black people, and black people have helped me more than white people.

No, I wouldn't even see any correlation between someone being out of line or hysterical. That defence is a bit of a stretch, even for you.

Slapping someone who is hysterical doesn't solve anything, it would just esculate the situation. Obviously there is a reason why they are hysterical much better off finding out root causes, rather than just slapping, wait til they are calm and talk it out, if this is an ongoing problem seek therapy together.

Your method is ignorant and wrong. And you are the only one here who is too stupid to realise it.
