He kind of did dodge the question, but I don't respect Romney for giving an answer. That's his job. Not to mention his opinion fucking sucks. If a Nazi sympathiser in politics said "I hate the jews, that's my opinion", would you respect that person? Not really.

They undergo the same stress everyone else does. It's about as much a dream to them as it is to you. Being uncomfortable around them displays a great deal of insecurity and homophobia on your part.

Accusations of homophobia get thrown around way too much. No matter how open minded someone is, it seems like anyone who says anything against certain parts of the gay culture or the gay "movement" gets called a homophobe even if they have legitimate points. One example is the gay pride parades which just perpetuate negative stereotypes about gay people and their media images.

His reaction after he realizes the guy he's singing praises to is in fact, homosexual.
Also, as a gay guy I hate gay pride parades and I believe that's where the majority of the negative stereotype comes from.

Re: Gay Veteran talks to Mitt Romney
They should totally have gay couples in the military, like the Sacred Band of Thebes:
Quote:
|
The Sacred Band of Thebes (Ancient Greek: Ἱερὸς Λόχος, Hieròs Lókhos) was a troop of picked soldiers, consisting of 150 pairs of male lovers which formed the elite force of the Theban army in the 4th century BC. It is said to have been organised by the Theban commander Gorgidas in 378 BC and to have played a crucial role in the Battle of Leuctra. It was annihilated by Philip II of Macedon in the Battle of Chaeronea in 338 BC.

But this isn't a legitimate point. The guy would prefer the "don't ask don't tell policy" due to his irrational views. That's a picture perfect example of a non-legitmate reason.

Re: Gay Veteran talks to Mitt Romney
"Ew, gay" just isn't much of a platform for policy-making, I feel.

What does this have to do with anything in my post that you quoted? Are you afraid of actually responding to my points instead of making witty, snide little comments that you think make you look smart or funny?

Yet, you do neither. All you do is call me stupid -by example- without giving an explanation as to why. I never said anyone who disagreed with me was stupid, just that I did not agree with them. You, sir, look like a complete dunce. You provide no reasoning for you slander, and look quite stupid for opening your e-mouth.
I speak from experience. You are probably a keyboard warrior who's fired guns on Call of Duty.
Coincidence?
