The simple fact of the matter is that many straight people in COMBAT ARMS not some supply, transportation or orderly room bullshit do not want homosexual males around them during downtime and on deployments. It's fucking uncomfortable, period.

It's a Forum where the only method for debate relies on opposing points of view. GB had the balls to clearly state his opinion on the subject, right or wrong, & now he's getting mugged.
We can debate the merits of each others points without the extra shit.

Re: Gay Veteran talks to Mitt Romney
As much as I do support gay marriage, I respect Romney for giving a straight answer. I mean it's one thing for him to not support gay marriage, but it's another for him to try and twist it around and hide the truth. He doesn't support it, and he gave his fair and honest answer.
Now would I vote for him if I lived in the states? No. I believe whomever is heading the White House should be open minded and more importantly see everybody as equal. We've existed for too damn long on this Earth to treat people of different color and beliefs with such exclusion from the most basic of rights in our society.

Nah, my priorities are where they need to be. It's uncomfortable being there to begin with. You don't need the extra stress of a homosexual watching you while you bathe with water bottles. They are around naked guys and guys manning mounted M249's in their boxers all day. It's a fucking dream to them.

Yeah, we had a 13F, Forward Observer that was a homosexual with our unit during a 12 month deployment.

It sounds like you're not that comfortable with your own sexual orientation. Could it be that you aren't comfortable around gays because you yourself are trying to suppress your own homosexual desires?
I myself am a homosexual and I can totally relate to what you're going through. When I first realized that I was gay I tried to hide it up by being homophobic. It was a stupid thing to do and it only made the process of accepting myself for who I am much worse. You need to stop this behavior right now and just learn to embrace the rainbow. PM me if you want to discuss this more. I am here to help, bud.

Re: Gay Veteran talks to Mitt Romney
I had a case where a CS2 (E5/navy) was caught taking pictures in the men's shower in our gym. This was before DADT was repealed. He just put on E5 like a week ago; they ripped that shit off and gave him 45/45 restriction and half month's pay.
I think as long as they handle gay sexual assault, general sexual abuse (like my situation), then DADT can be easily repealed. If a gay man looks at you in the shower, the only difference would be he can say "no I'm not gay" or "Yes I am gay" and either way nothing happens.
Of course, when it gets to the point of it interfering a mission, the same way a male to a female can interfere with a mission already, then it should dealt with in an equal way, without giving a gay man more of punishment (ie. getting kicked out).

From the content of your post it seems like you are well versed in what sexually arouses a homosexual man. Either that or you're just plain stupid and think that all homosexual men are hypersexual and want to fuck any and all guys at all times.
Aren't there much more important things to be worrying about than sexual orientation?

That's rarely true. I mean it's funny in an, "haha I gotcha" kind of way but it's almost never true.
Just being real here. Carry fuckin' on.

Re: Gay Veteran talks to Mitt Romney
I wouldn't say people are uncomfortable because they may secretly be gay, but it definitely shows a lack of security in one's own masculinity.

You guys are really grasping at straws here. What would make you think I am not comfortable with my own sexual orientation and how in the fucking world would you be able to decipher that from emotionless text on an Internet forum. Are you really that desperate? Do you really want everyone to be like you?

What makes you think I'm homophobic? That I don't want a gay man around me when I'm conducting my personal hygiene butt ass naked? When you get off of your falsified moral high ground of, "I'm gay, and you don't like me, so I'm going to call you gay", and land on planet Earth, let me know.
