Though very much so late to the party, as an answer to the OP, I'll say that the section doesn't need role models or peace-makers of any kind, but rather, just some users who can be bothered putting just that little bit of effort into actual RANTS rather than mindless robbling against one user that's soon forgotten about even though they had a thread that went on for hundreds of replies.

Something as simple as a dude getting angry about how he got shit on his shoe by a dog today would be interesting enough to spark convorsation, but even then, when somebody does try to go the route of a rant directed at society, rather than just one guy, it'll turn into insults about someone's poor past in the section, and linger off-topic until it's reduced to an old pile of dishes in the sink you forgot to get around to.
