I came across an article today that made me wonder how can Mothers be so fucking stupid as to let their toddlers who are aged around 20 months enter a beauty pageant. I mean seriously kids around that age can barely walk and yet they're prancing around on stage with a hefty amount of make up and in skimpy little outfits like swimsuits and bikini's, i mean why would you want to do that?!? but here's the part i love these women claim that their kids love to do this. OH REALLY FOOL?!? Do they tell you this themselves?! I mean what the fuck?!

Other responses include...“She wears a bikini if she goes to the swimming pool and you don’t know who is there so it’s just the same as that.” and "If you think it’s something you would be interested in as a child then you do it with them."

No it is not the same as that because a swimming pool and a beauty pageant are two completely different environments and your child wont be judged in the same way! also your child will be swimming so it makes sense for them to wear something like that even then a swimsuit makes more sense and stop trying to live vicariously through your child and let them be a child!

It's because the parents make it about them, not the kid. They just use the kid to get attention. That's why they get so mad when the little girl 'fucks up'. They don't see what they are doing to the kid, they just see dollar signs.

Parents pushing there failed dreams onto their children. People just eat this shit up, hence the countless reality TV shows based on that concept. It's pretty saddening and I know when I have kids of my own they won't be doing stuff like that unless they really want to, even then I'd rather just have my kid be a kid.

It's sad how a lot of parents raise their kids. They seem to enjoy living their lives through their kids probably because their own existence is devoid of any real worth.

Trouble is: when the kids are that young and in that developmental stage: A lot of this psychologically damaging shit can't be undone.

I still don't understand how this will psychologically damage them when they will have no recollection of any of this stuff when their long term memory starts kicking in. It's not like these kids will have terrible nightmares when their older about the shit they did as a two year old.
