Well I bought a truck and it is a 1992 F-150 Custom. The problem is I had to replace a lot of shit to get it to start working again. It worked fine for two weeks with no issues. Sadly, it isn't working. The transmission needs to be flushed so what I am going to do is get the truck to a shop that will do a professional flush. I have replaced a lot of stuff with my dad. So we got a lot of it fixed, but we discovered there was like no trans fluid at all. So we are gonna fill it up and take it to a shop called Uncle Ed's Shoppe! I am hoping this will make it work for good until I can save for a better vehicle.

It is just so fucking frustrating!

That's what you get for buying a ford.I have a 99 dodge ram 1500 slt and it has over 200,000 miles on it(former work truck)and it runs like it's brand new.In fact the only complaint I have is the fucking paint peeling like all the dodge trucks of the 90's do.

oh man that sucks. If you have to replace the transmission then you're fucked money wise. Hopefully you wont have to do that though.

My truck is pretty good for one that's had over 250,000 miles on it(was my dad's work truck). only major thing i've had to replace was the radiator.

I have a 95 Camry with 243 K on that baby. Still runs great; probably will get new brakes soon, but that's about it.

But right now (in America) buying a new car is a much better investment than buying used. Overall, used cars are getting much more pricey since the economy is lousy; since the idea is that a used car is cheaper (which is true). But shittier used cars are getting sold for more.

I would have bought a new car (or newer than 92') personally. and I did, a 2012 Mazda 3. Really like it so far; paid full in cash.

Is the engine a 300 inline 6? That would be worth keeping. The ADOE trans are known to be weak.
