Re: Question For John Cena Fans
I'll be honest. I like him, he's cheesy as fuck yes, but even that has its appeal in a way
And even though many would disagree, I like the person. Alot. And alot of his character. He's a good, honest hardworking guy who promotes good values. I get this is wrestling and shit and its an entire sport based on bashing each other in the head with a chair over someone spilling a cup of coffee, i like how he, more or less, tries to do things in a respectful way. Like people are supposed to, in real life
Best example of this is The Rock. He lost. Everyone wanted him to turn heel afterwards. Which makes sense in the context of wrestling, but in real life he handled it the way you should. You pick yourself up, you dust yourself off, you shake the guys hand, you say you're gonna work on improving yourself, and you do. Thats how you handle shit like this in real life. You dont fucking turn heel. I get its pretty goddamn boring, but he has his appeal in a way
What I hate most is how people call him 'Superman' as an insult. Superman is the greatest hero of all time. He stands for good honest values, never gives up, and no matter how hard he's pushed, always finds a way to triumph. Those are good lessons. But apparently thats not good enough for the cynical and bitter post 80s world. Everything has to be edgy and hardcore. Bring in the ECW. Bring in Wolverine. Bring on the goddamn batman. Superman and Cena just isnt 'grim and gritty' for today's audience i suppose.
He's a good honest hardworking guy who even when everyone wanted him dead, still did his job the best he could. He wrestles well and gives the kids someone to look up to. I dont look forward to seeing him, hell i dont even watch wrestling anymore, but i really do respect and like the man.
