I don't get it..why is Jay Z always topping the lists of Greatest Hip Hop artists of all time? It's so annoying! Fuck, like what in the blue fucking hell?!?! Tupac, Eminem, Biggie Smalls and Snoop Dogg are miles ahead of him.

Why is everyone always voting him to the top? He is a decent solid Hip Hop act but come on, that is like calling Randy Orton, the greatest wrestler ever. It makes no sense.

Jay-Z is one of top rappers of all time. Eminem is bigger and more successful then the rest of course but to say Jay-z is over rated is just terrible statement.

Because most of these lists are mainstream lists and Jay's incredibly popular worldwide in the mainstream for a rapper. Only other rappers who come close to being able to put out great tracks over an extended period of time that can have success mainstream that I can think of are Em and Ye.

Reasonable Doubt, Blueprint and Black Album are all considered classics and even after them he's still having massive radio hits like Empire State. Don't see how anyone be called "overrated" with that type of discography and global success.

I'm not putting down his rapping. I'm just saying that Tupac, Eminem, Wu Tang Clan etc. are just MUCH better in terms of Hip Hop artists. He is only really rated highly in the States. Sorry to break the news to you lot.
