With that said, Reasonable Doubt is a classic. My problem with Jay is that he's too one-dimensional. He just talks about himself and although he can get some good beats to back him up, a lot of the time, they can become generic Jay-Z braggadocio songs, like a few songs from The Blueprint which is why I don't consider it a classic. "All I Need", "U Don't Know", "Hola Hovito", "The Ruler's Back" don't really feel that different to me.
And for all the "Jay has never had a bad album" comments, I think Vol 2 and Vol 3 suck. Poppy and annoying as fuck for most of it. I also don't like Kingdom Come or The Blueprint 3.
