It's not fair that he's in trouble for self-defense but you ave to ask whether he overstepped whats reasonable and what is excessive.

Incapacitating them would have made more sense. Severly injure the bastards.

Manslaughter might be more appropriate.

I don't think he does. When you make a decision to attack and rob someone, you should know things might not end well for you. They put themselves in that situation. I don't know how to pity anyone who thinks it is all right to attack and rob anyone. They didn't deserve death. But they took the risk and they paid for it. The initial victim's life is more important in my eyes.

lol @ what Cloverleaf said. Easy to say when you aren't 53 with a shitty leg and having some black gangsters stab you and try to kill you for no reason other than initiation to a gang. I would have beaten them to death, too. It drives me nuts when people get in more shit because they know how to defend themselves. You almost get in trouble because you know how to fight, it's fucking ridiculous, as THAT'S THE FUCKING POINT. Had he not been able to defend himself, they would have killed him. Now he will probably sit in a cage because he defended himself against some abortions to society.

I train BJJ and I'm well aware if I were to use it in a fight and break something on someone, I would get in more trouble. It's absolutely ridiculous that you are penalized further for knowing how to defend yourself.
