Macs are good if you want to spend twice as much on a computer that essentially does the same thing. If you get it because it doesnt get viruses, you can download ubuntu for free or dual boot it with windows.
Unless you do graphic design I don't see why you would. But then I don't understand why people spend a fortune on the latest iphone
Which are Ea like in their updates when you can get a good android phone which does the same thing, and in my opinion better in the casae of the samsung galaxy.

Mac's are awesome, if you've got the money that is

Windows, Bing, Internet Explorer, Silverlight, basically everything to do with Microsoft and Computers is shitty these days.

I used Linux for a while for my IT course and it's far more tolerable than Windows. I've had my Mac for 3 years and in that time it's crashed less programs than Windows does in a day. I kept my old laptop (Windows) when I got this one, but it blue screen's everytime you turn it on now as it deleted its own operating system

my current laptop is wonderful. windows 7 and stuff, never crashed, no viruses (even with all that HD PORN) and it fucks like a beast. but i've never had any of the horror stories windows can produce cos i dont fuck with my laptop, i respect it and give it what it wants.

plus it cost 1800 but i only paid 900 cos of the now defunct education rebate (which i claimed while i wasnt studying and in between courses )
