I have to say, though, it's hard coming up with a character in wrestling. People think it's so easy and simple. Nope. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to stuff like this so everything I do has to make sense.

I always wanted to see a gimmick based on Kanye West, or at least how the public perceives Kanye. What do you think?

Well, since I am living my dreams as a pro wrestler and have already started of some sorts (a trainee actually) at my local wrestling promotion here in Sacramento, it's a question I usually ask myself a lot. I do have two ideas though:

"Power" by Kanye West

This would be when I am a heel. My character would be a man has become disillusioned from life's hardships and the society and the people that live in it that accept society's "low standards" putting him down and writing him off as a failure. He becomes a selfish, self-centered, pretentious, and condescending crusader/one man cult (or to him a "hero that will cleanse the filth and decay of the society and its people that once rejected him") who uses his voice as his pulpit. According to himself, he's the conscience to everybody that nobody ever wants to acknowledge to themselves and others. In his mind, he speaks truth and honesty about issues, topics, and struggles that nobody wants to talk about or doesn't want to admit that they contribute to the problem in their own way. He is also a powerhouse of a man in the ring with a couple of submission based maneuvers. I think this song represents that he feels and believes that he has unlimited and unfiltered power within himself to do anything because he's "successful" and not a "failure" in his world, as opposed to the real world.

"Flashing Lights" by Kanye West

This would be when I, once again, would be a heel. My character used to be a man that earned his successes by engaging in hard work, never taking the shortcut, and was a honorable and humble person who never expected anything from those he helped or got done. After some mind manipulation from another heel about how people are naturally selfish and will turn on him because they don't honestly care about him and also being lectured about the influence of money, it works and he turns heel. He becomes a more refined, pompous, arrogant man who (thanks to the heel that helped him) is backed by unknown connections with large wealth of money to make him look like a million bucks. He becomes the man he never wanted to be and never thought he would be. Kanye West has some good wrestling-like themes. I chose this one because the intro is so self serving and obnoxious and when the drop hits, he comes out as pompous to wear he gets the reactions he desired.

I have more characters but my head is blank and those are my favorite two anyways.
