a reason to stop watching first take, im a bulls fan andim sick of the lebron bashing, its like the cavs stunk, so he went to a better team...i thought the pt was for guys to care about wins...everyone else is mad he didnt sign with their team. and tebow stinks avg what 9 pts and winning because of def plays doesnt make you a great winner..imagine if peyton had a def that was top 10 more than what twice in his career..pfft hate skip

I'm probably a rarity but I like Skip Bayless. Although the Lebron bashing is annoying I find a lot of what he says actually ends up being exaggerated truths.

I think Skip says the hard truths about teams and players you don't want to hear. Outside the realm of Lebron and Tebow, however Tebow isn't the pop God he has been made out to be, he still is a great player that can give a team a ton of momentum down the stretch.

Tebow is the kind of player that takes teams like the Jets, 49ers, Ravens and Cowboys (that have been close to the Super Bowl, great in the regular season or on paper they look like a dynasty in the past five years) and gets them to the Super Bowl. I am really surprised (but happy) that Jerry Jones didn't go after Tebow but I think the Jets will make a run with him on their team. Not necessarily the focal point but as a gimmick, motivator and good luck charm. I foresee Elway kicking himself and Peyton fumbling out the rest of his career aside from maybe this year.

Skip Bayless though definitely has some kind of erratic insight. I think I like him because most of the time I realize he is just playing devil's advocate for the stingier reality of sports that are over-dogs but deep down he is an under-dog kind of guy.

That was my favorite episode. First Take is the prime example why BSPN is shit. Both Skip and Smith, especially Skip don't believe a word they say, they say everything for shock value. They exploit both athletes and the audience with their fake "heated" debates and their biased agendas. It's a shame people actually enjoy that shit.

What he does on TV is just an act. Everyone in the media seems to say if the camera isn't rolling he's very quiet and to himself. His opinions are just amped up for TV.

The only opinion of his I find annoying (and it's not even close) is his mancrush on Tebow.
