Re: Wrestling fans are the worst.
Cena really should have stayed gone for longer than a night, especially after THAT match. Where he gave a genuinely incredible babyface performance that actually won alot of the crowd
some time off would do him and the WWE a world of good

Re: Wrestling fans are the worst.
The stupid thing about that ending is that Cena could have made a spirited comeback and lost and still earnt just as much respect as he did by coming out on top without having to sacrifice Lesnar in the process. Not surprised Brock was pissed backstage (unless that's a work...)
What a PPV though - 2 MOTY contenders with the main event and Bryan/Sheamus.

Re: Wrestling fans are the worst.
Yeah, I would have probably got over Cena winning a lot quicker if he'd actually dissapeared for a while, leaving Brock to stew while clearing out half the roster in a fit of rage (that's obviously not happening now either). Having said that, Cena's character could do with some humility, a loss at ER would have done that, you know, actually build up some babyface sympathy for him and all that! Never the less, his fluke victory would have benefited him a lot more if WWE would have capitalised on it by having him off screen for a while, 'E fans would have been dying for him to return while Lesnar went on a rampage. Both scenarios could have helped his longevity and general character development. Oh well, the world's still turning.

Only if Lesnar goes over HHH in the inevitable future match, you never know!

This x100
Don't really like Hogan one bit but I'll always respect the guy for everything he has done for the industry. That respect will never go away unless he does something really stupid and it would have to be something that really hurts the industry as a whole to make it happen

Yeah I really agree with this too. It's just a shame that even with Lesnar back, Punk & Bryan doing great and a bunch of younger up and comings doing fine too they still feel the need to keep Cena around as much as possible. Having him gone for even 2 months would have been good and made it all feel more real.

Brock is too outstanding a heel for this to fail... unless he really is just there to put wwe stars over.

This is the main concern, surely WWE can't be that stupid? Only time will tell.

Re: Wrestling fans are the worst.
Who do you want to see Lesnar fight at Wrestlemania? Hard to see past Taker for me. Officials having to tend to Taker like they did for Cena whilst the streak hangs in the balance would make for some epic drama.

Honestly It wouldn't surprise me at all considering that the WWE don't even know if he's staying past Mania. Would hate it too be the case though. Especially when they are probably paying him a shit load of money for 20 something live apperances. (twice a month at average)

With Him & Haitch likely to go at SummerSlam I see either Taker,Rock & maybe them reigniting him & Cena. Taker seems like the best choice now thouhg.
