I made a few great threads there (not tooting my own horn because it's me, just being honest) and, yeah, they got responses, but they fell back pages while the stupid threads with no thought are constantly on page one with awful discussion. I get that I am one of the older people so they may not relate as much to threads about older wrestlers, but, fuck, the whole point is for them to get a little educated on some of the greats in the business and for the other older fans to discuss wrestlers that may have been their favorites growing up.

No one cares about good threads, they just want to have the same dumb threads day in and day out to respond to.

Post regularly in the WWE DVD thread, it's the only knowledgable thread in the whole section and I'm shocked it hasn't been overtaken by them yet. Few have tried but get destroyed out of there, it's pretty epic watching them fail as they have no argument to what they say.

That is one of the most annoying things here, just the plain fact that people just post the dumbest shit ever and don't back it up.

If someone hates a wrestler, cool, but jumping in with just JOHN CENA IS FUCKING GAY!!!1!!!1111 just reeks of stupidity. I hate John Cena the character because his gimmick is boring, his matches are less than stellar, and I am sick of him always being the fucking hero. He is almost made to be unstoppable. I mean, yeah, he loses sometimes, but he has more often than not had the shit kicked out of him only to magically get the strength to fight back and win. He is no different than Hulk Hogan, only Hulk Hogan was far more interesting, especially in the Hollywood Hogan era.

As someone whose posted on that forum since 06 it has indeed become particularly bad recently, mostly in terms of people being moronic.

The hyper-criticism and oh-so-serious aspect of wrestling fans has been around since the beginning though, its just something about that demographic. I post very infrequently these days, but I do lurk that section from time to time for the humour. Particularly immediately after raw, things get pretty hilarious.
