Hoping for Gingrich vs Obama and some classic political theater.

I don't know that the Republicans even want to win. They'll get in office in 2016. There are some decent upcoming Repubs that were a little too inexperienced for this time around.

I'd imagine they are targeting that, and would rather have 4 more years of Obama doing jack shit to make it much easier to get their guy in.

Well Ron Paul could win if America stops dreaming.

Whatever you call American dream I would believe it's time to wake up from it.

I'd imagine the Republicans wouldn't mind attacking Obama mercilessly for another for years rather than having the responsibility of President. You're right though that the Republican field will be a lot stronger next election.

Even Bill Clinton says the American dream is under attack.

At this point, I would probably vote for Paul. However, he is old and been in stressful occupations his whole life so he'd have to pick a strong VP. A lot of his policies are utopian. Not to mention none of he really has never gotten anything through congress, so how is he going to change anything?

BINGO! I said they probably didn't really want to win in 2008, either.

Re: 2012 Election: Is There Even A Good Choice?

If Romney wins he'll get my vote. You couldn't pay me to vote for Obama. If Romney doesn't win my vote will go for Ron Bennington. Bar none.

You couldn't pay me to vote for Mittens.

I don't mind Newt. He could probably own Obama in a debate. Though it shouldn't be hard to take out captain teleprompter. They should just put up "Fuck you San Diego" and see if Obama reads it off.
