I remember I was just an 8 year old lad who just like any other child wanted a game boy advanced. I had just gotten a PlayStation 1 two years earlier but I wanted to take my gaming on the road. I finally got a GBA along with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Fire Pro Wrestling. It was freaking awesome even though it didn't have a backlight. And then, nintendo decided that I was having to much fun and released the GBA SP only a few months later.

Every freakin year they release a new console with jipped features so they can re sell you the same got damn game next week. Of course, the kids in school made fun of me because my parents couldn't afford the new one, so I was stuck with the morbidly obese GBA while the other kids played with the technologically up to date (for 2003) gaming device. They've been doing this crap since the nineties, when is it going to stop! Damn you Nintendo.

Unfortunately, it's never going to stop. I rarely buy anything high tech at this point because it seems to be completely irrelevant within 6 months.

Nintendo does this 'every freakin' year', huh? The last time I recalled, the GameCube and Wii didn't have 'jipped features'.
