While I admire the guy for getting $30 million from idiots the way he did, he should and more then likely will be charged with fraud over $5000.

lol I believe you are as well. But I believe most people are. 
If it's any consolation to Christians, I believe very very very few of them believed this, even in the slightest. That being said, they do believe in Adam and Eve and Noah's Ark though.

People should get a refund, however, considering what he was preaching was proven to be false. He wasn't selling a product but he was selling an idea, one that everyone sees is false. He should be convicted of some sort of crime for his actions.

If stupid people can sue and win cases such as big dick pills not making their dick bigger and suing McDonald's for making them fat, why wouldn't people be able to sue this guy for lying about the world ending? You present a strong enough case and you're rich. And I mean it can't be that hard, he advertised like a mother fucker, there's billboards in my town in Ontario while he lived in California, I mean if I wanted to sue him all I'd really have to say is there was no small print saying he might be wrong and he cause me lots of stress, I quit my job thinking thew world would end and whatever else I could think of and if I had a strong enough case and I prove he didn't do anything to say he could be wrong, who's to say I couldn't rob this guy blind?
