Another problem for MLB is that they don't really have any controversial players to get buzz or interest in their games, one of the reason's the Heat get such good ratings is because they have LeBron and after all the drama about where he's going to play he's gained more interest to the team.

Right now the only controversial player in baseball is A-Rod and he hasn't done anything worth note off the field in awhile.

I'm not a big baseball fan really but not every batter goes to the plate with the intent of hitting a home run.

The thing that's boring about baseball is that for long periods of time absolutely nothing is happening. You're really just waiting for a big hit. Or a hit at all.
