Well first of all I think Obama did the right thing by firing McChrystal. Been seen tolerating insubordination from the military would be much worse.
His replacement however I don't really have an opinion of mainly because I don't know who would be the best commander in this. I do know that Gen Petraeus is Bush's boy and this is probably a bit of a populist decision. Pro War and Republicans have spoken positively of him over recent times.

IIRC, petraus was one of the people who the Bush administration looked for answers from in how to conduct the war on Iraq. he said exactly how many troops they would need and the administration was like "LOL no you don't" and then a few years down the road ended up doing what he initially said.
I'm not sure how t heir relationship was then after, but if he;s the top guy for the job then Obama did the right thing.

Well TBF, people question Bush's inteligence(myself included) and he graduated from Harvard Business school. Never really heard a valid argument about his nationality though. and also Except for the hardcore believers who even after a birth certificate and a birth announcement were produced still doubted it, everyone mostly realizes he is American.

There is no right guy for the job in Afghanistan because the people the US wants to fight are in Pakistan now and have been for some time. At any rate isn't Afghanistan the "graveyard of empires"? Yeah, that's exactly where we need to be.
More importantly, Heihachi was unstoppable in Tekken 3.

Wasn't Alexander pretty much undefeated? God amongst men indeed. Gods don't count. 
EDIT: Jinpachi wasn't in Tekken 3. Heihachi still ruled that era prior to Jinpachi showing up. I can't take Jinpachi seriously though for the record.
