Re: Andrew Laine
Violence never solved anything. Two world wars didn't bring the world closer together, all it did was make sure 50 years later nobody got along and millions upon millions of innocent people were killed in the process. My advice is to go to Andrew Laine's house and talk it out like real men would. Learn from the mistakes of past world leaders and don't use violence. We want love not war.

Yeah but to be fair, World War 2 gave us Call of Duty 2.

Re: Andrew Laine
I have never played Call of Duty 2 as I am against war and violence in general. Nothing good has ever come from violence.

Call of Duty has though....
I get the feeling that the OP and the guy he ranted on are the same person.

Re: Andrew Laine
Reread my post, nothing good has ever come from violence, Call of Duty is a video game that glorifies the murder of 6 million Jewish people, and you call that good? You are one sick twisted guy and should be seeing a shrink if you think the murder of innocent people is entertaining.
Next you're going to tell me that Grand Theft Auto teaches the children about what it's like in the real world. That we're all nothing more then gang-banging, car stealing, money laundering, pistol waving Italian/Russian nutjobs. Yeah because that's what the real world is like.

Re: Andrew Laine
I'm fine with science fiction first person shooters. I don't play them, but it's cartoon violence.
I do have a problem with trivializing World War II in a video game. Real men and women and children died in this conflict. Millions of them. The loss of human life was cataclysmic in scope.
It also fueled the cold fires of the lost years after that War. World War II brought about the atomic bomb, a figurative Rubicon has been crossed, and it's a far worse world than it was.

Seriously lol'ing at how this became a discussion about war.

Re: Andrew Laine
We should be concentrating on real problems, like the bad side of war.

If wanted to talk about politics I'd go back to Lebanon.
