This makes me dislike more black people (everyone I saw in that video), therefore it's very counterproductive.

With that being said, the NAACP isn't the problem so much as it's leader Al Sharpton. He wants so badly to be the next MLK Jr. Anyone notice that when anyone has a legitimate racial problem, he's no where to be found, but when something as simple as something sounding like something he gets all up in arms.

MLK fought injustice
Al Sharpton fought to get his name in the papers and to make money

Al is even willing to parody himself on television. I don't think MLK would get on TV to talk about how silly his cause and actions are

I heard black whores. The NAACP has been doing stuff like this for some time now. It's nothing new.

This kind of thing isn't new and will continue to happen. After being an integral part of the civil rights movement, groups like the NAACP have to seek to keep themselves relevant and will end up taking aim at the wrong targets. Frequently such action will backfire and embarrass the organisation itself.

I'm not American, but I would hazard a guess that away from the mainstream and the PR disasters like this, the organisation still does some worthwhile and important things. Judging by some of the comments in this thread, its existence is still justified.

I hate activists. God they piss me off. Why don't you work towards the advancement of your people by getting a real job? Making pathetic arguments like this is yet another example of "not helping the cause". It is talking about planets for fucks sake and CLEARLY says black holes. I bet none of you would have heard whores if you didn't know about it beforehand.
