Default Animal Cruelty

I've always been a big pet lover, and I always will be. We own four cats in our family, and I love them all so much, and whenever I hear stories of animal cruelty and abuse, I get sickened about how human beings can treat an innocent animal like that. I think it was here a few years ago somebody made a rant similar to this where they posted a video of an Asian Girl stepping on a cat and you could hear the cat crying helplessly. I do not remember the actual outcome whether the cat survived or not, but hearing that cat cry made me cry, and I thought that may've been the most disgusting thing I've ever seen.

However, if you live in the New York area, you may've heard of a dog that was recently saved by a few bartenders named Walter who was only 2 months old when he was burnt and thrown out of a moving car by his owner. I saw the news report one night on Channel 7, I got to see what the dog looked like and what damage this awful fucking human being did, and I broke down. Here is Walter for those who have not seen or heard about the story:

That was Walter a few days ago after being rescued, and as I have heard, he maybe going to a family this Sunday. This story reminded me of the sick people out there and what people would do to such a loving animal. It's gotten to the point where I hope they find the owner and burn him and throw him out of a moving vehicle to show him what he did to that dog.

http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/video?id=7397260 - The news report of Walter, so sad to watch.

http://www.facebook.com/pages/HELP-S...18164941530998 - Facebook Page for Walter, please join this, no animal should go through this kind of pain and hardship.

http://www.helpsavewalter.blogspot.com/

Please support Walter as he has a long journey up ahead, and God Bless those who have saved his life. God Bless to everyone who saves an animal.

Note: Don't be heartless guys, please support Walter and all animals that are victims of animal cruelty.

Nice post my friend and I agree with you %100.

I've always had a dog(s) my entire life, with my current dog being a 5-month old Golden Retriever named Oliver (or Olly.). One thing I can absolutely not stand seeing or hearing about is cruelty to dogs, I find it very heartbreaking. I myself do not understand what is wrong with some of these people that can just treat animals, dogs especially so horribly... it blows my mind.

Honestly, whenever I'm in downtown Detroit for a sporting event, bar, or whatever I seriously feel horrible whenever I see a stray dog/cat as I'm driving... but at the same time I detest the homeless people I see also and find them disgusting. That may not be the right way to think but that's just how I feel.

I'm happy that Walter may have a family that will love him and treat him great real soon!

My family has given to the ASPCA before. They're a very good organization that helped my family get my most beloved pet of all time, my dog Nerak.

But whatever you do, don't give to PETA. Bastards.

Makes me sick

I contribute to the Dogtrust

I only get my animals from rehoming centers.

3 dogs and 2 pet rats I have atm.

1 of the dogs, a lovely staffordshire bull terrier was young and never had a home 'cause he was deaf.

I hate animal hurters and abandoners.

I find that to be a very respectable thing when people only get their animals from shelters/centers and really contribute time and love to help rehabilitate and love those dogs.

I applaud your compassion for rescuing those animals JB, a true sign of a good person. What is your terrier's name and how is he doing?

While I'm definitely not an advocate of animal cruelty, I do hate dogs with a passion. Ever since I was a little kid, they've had a fascination, as a race, with attacking me. I've been attacked FIVE times. I'm desperately concerned there may be some kind of canine uprising in the works and it's targeted at me.

As such, I'm really hesitant to give any time, money or consideration to dog-related charities. It, for me, would be like funding the BNP. Sure, it can't hurt, but it's going to kill me in the long run. Perhaps whoever did this was another victim of the canine uprising? Who knows?

Sorry mate, but that is asolutely ridiculous. Maybe you're the one who is acting strange around them and scaring them. I've never been 'attacked' but I've been living with Dogs for 16 years and I guess I know how to not piss them off. Obviously Dogs will still bark or growl from time to time but as long as you don't intimidate them and scare them then they're fine.
