It is disgusting how expensive pay-per-views are. WWE and TNA are just money hungry. The first pay-per-view I ever ordered was Summer Slam 90' and that was $9.95. Wrestlemania 8 was my first Wrestlemania and that was $19.95 and I practically had to beg my parents to order it because they thought it was too expensive. My dads' head would fall off if he knew how much Wrestlemania cost today. For what? It is just another pay-per-view. Wrestlemania hasn't been "WRESTLEMANIA" for years now so why in the hell are we being charged so much. Last year it was $69.99 and now my cable company is charging $89.99 for what to see that new chick sing God Bless America and an extra hour on the show? Regular PAY-PER-VIEWS are $39.95 and $34.95 for TNA. I have rent to pay,to buy food and other expenses I can't afford to pay what 300 something a year on pay-per-views. I can't believe it is legal to charge so much. Didn't Bill Gates get into alot of trouble with the law for somethinglike that?
I don't buy pay-per-views, simple as that. The only thing close to buying a show is when I used to go to the theaters for Summerslam/Royal Rumble/Wrestlemania where the tickets would be around $20 per person. I've stopped doing that too because honestly, it isn't worth it. Until I see more consistency on WWE/TNA's part, I will not buy a pay-per-view.
Just don't buy them, the streams suck so what I do is pay for them on forums that stream them for like 5 bucks or less if I really wanna watch it. If not there's always free replays on some sites or I go to this Japanese site where they show the wwe ppv's for free in their entirety. You could always buy the ppv on dvd when it comes out if it's really good. If a match is something spectacular I'm sure you'll hear about it and see it at some point on a dvd, upload or youtube. There hasn't been too many great matches on ppv's lately. The last ones I could remember were TNA's last two ppvs at the end of the year produced some great ones with the two last matches on Turning Point and Final Resolution.
