Re: Abortion
Regarding the drugs, it's just not necessary. It will never be necessary to become a heroin addict, and should never legally be allowed. It causes so many problems, can you see the government actively allowing that?

Re: Abortion
Legalizing drugs would represent the governments failure in eliminating the drug trade. That's never going to happen. Despite how improbable a solution might be, the government cannot give up on its country by legalizing such drugs.

Re: Abortion
Alcohol is a far bigger problem than any other drug out there, yet that is still perfectly legal. You people in the U.S. tried to make it illegal but you realised prohibition doesnt work and quickly corrected your mistake. It's about time governments across the world started to realise that prohibition doesnt work for other drugs either.
People should be free to make their own choices on what they can and cannot put into their bodies.

To some people, abortion is killing a person too.

In most states it was legal to abort if the pregnancy came about as a result of incest or rape before Roe v Wade.

Killing a person would be legally murder. Abortion isn't murder, therefore it isn't killing a person.

That's impossible to put into play in these times though.

Re: Abortion
For those against, read this.
A nine-year-old girl pregnant after years of alleged sexual abuse by her stepfather is likely to abort twins she is carrying in a case that has shocked Brazil, reports in Sao Paulo said on Saturday.
The Brazilian girl, who was not identified because she is a minor, was found to be four months pregnant after being taken to hospital suffering stomach pains, the news websites G1, pe360graus and the Diario de Pernambuco reported.

I don't drink, so if alcohol was illegal I wouldn't care in the slightest. However, those that know a little about history (This is the "prohibition" part in your textbooks, kids), will know that it was tried before, and was a huge failure. Banning something which people before have had rights to is difficult. But I'd rather alcohol become illegal than those drugs become legal.

I know exactly what prohibition was, so no need to to add the kids part.
To me it's not the governemnt buissiness what people put into their own bodies.
