Stalin far more people than just some, who didn't share his view. I also think, it's pretty bad to call some murders better than other murders.

It doesn't matter, that Hitler prefered to kill jews, communists, free spirits, gipsies and homosexuals, while Stalin "just" killed people to intimmidate potential threats (in his mind) and ensure is rule. Both men murdered a simmiliar amount of people. Their choosing isn't relavent. That would be very cynic.

Of course Hitler als tried to eliminate all culture besides his own (preferably the jews, but also christianity, democracy and free arts). Stalin did the same thing, but with less of an impact. Also, Stalin fought against Hitler. You may appreciate that and therefore declare Hitler "worse" (because, he was from you point of view; others suffered more from Stalin), but I personally don't think, that a vote makes very much sense.

6 MILLION people from one race gone in a few years > Millions of dumb people going against Stalin's authority.

World War 2 AND the Holocaust still would have happened if someone had taken baby Hitler and smothered him as a child. Because if he hadn't taken his position someone else would have, his opinion on the Jews and other nations was the same as most other German’s at the time.

Stalin on the other hand was different, Lenin himself even said before he died "Don't let Stalin gain power" Stalin tagged along the revolutionaries who took over Russia, he was not qualified to run a country, yet he still became leader. He was a man full of hate, yet he still acquired the military force of a fucking Superpower, a lot of shit went wrong because of him.

Both were massive Fuck Ups in History and should each be treated as bad as each other. But if you REALLY want to compare the two men then its Stalin, people say Hitler because he is more known, but Stalin was a bigger fuck up then Hitler, and I’m not saying Hitler wasn’t a fuck up.

Stalin. Watched a couple of documentaries about him and don't think for a second he was any better than Hitler. What a brutal dictator.

Stalin. Its not even a contest. Over 30 years of hell for Eastern Europe some say close too 60 million were killed, 20 million is a more moderate estimate but thats still many more deaths then Hitler's regime was ever responsible for in his ten year reign.

Hitler did it for beliefs. Stalin did it for pure power. Stalin is the 'worse' dictator, but Hitler was the best leader.

I think in terms of the more evil man, it was Hitler, but in terms of the more evil dictator, it would be Stalin. Hitler really wasn't an evil dictator because he didn't do anything bad to his own people (the people he dictated), but rather gased and burned a bunch of jews.

Stalin on the other hand was an evil dictator because of his use of socialism to turn the Soviet Union into a police state. He ruled with fear and sent his own people off to the gulags because they didn't churn out enough paper for the day or something like that.

Sure, Hitler had his SS come after you if you spoke out against the party, and I don't really know what Hitler did to those people, but Stalin did that stuff too, and there wasn't really a punishment harsher than being sent to Northern Siberia to work the gulags.
