Tobacco Smoking
I hate tobacco company's
I can't kick this damn habit.
Patches failed...I'm going to go cold turkey after my holiday.
When I started smoking, a pack of 20 was around £4.50. Its now £6.20 for the same damn pack, fucking taxation is ridiculous.
I need to rid myself of this evil weed. Pain in the ass Determined to do it after I return from Spain. Until then, I shall continue to hand my hard earned cash over to the tobacco companies and the government.
EDIT : Read the post. Does it say anywhere "I blame the tobacco companies for my addiction" No, it doesn't. It says i hate them, doesn't mean I blame them for my addiction.

Re: Tobacco Smoking
It’s your choice. You can quit if you want to. No need to blame the tobacco companies for your inability to stop.

Re: Tobacco Smoking
I used to smoke cigarettes for a long time but I finally just quit. I just went cold turkey, fuck patches and all that bullshit.
And yeah I agree with Steve Patriot, no need to blame tobacco companies, you're the one choosing to smoke it and keep doing it.

Re: Tobacco Smoking
Yeah, it's not that easy to quit, I've tried numerous times over the years. Much of it does have to do with will power, but the excruciating headaches, muscle pain and many other symptoms are are a contributing factor in what makes it so difficult to quit.
Can't blame the tobacco companies for our addictions though.

Re: Tobacco Smoking
Didn't you know the dangers of smoking before doing it? If so, I don't see how it's the tobacco companies fault.

Re: Tobacco Smoking
You choose to smoke, not the tobacco companies. And the cost of cigarettes is up in a lot of countries. It's almost between $5-7 for a well-known cigarettes like Marlboro and Newport in the US.

Watch more Truth commercials.
Otherwise, just stop smoking. Theres no other way to quit something unless you do it on your own.
No patches or any of that dumb shit.

Re: Tobacco Smoking
Generally, I hate smokers more than the tobacco companies. Obviously not personally, but I hate when smokers blow that shit in my face or give me no choice but to breathe it in or leave the public room. I get seriously ill.

Poor baby. When I started smoking a pack would cost me less than a dollar! Yes, can't recall the exact price but it was around the 90-95 cent mark. That was for a pack of 25's. That was before they were taxed like hell and blamed for everything. You could smoke wherever you wanted.
I quit 8 years ago. I just stopped. I was able to quit because I wanted to. If you want to you will. You can't blame the cigarette companies. It's your fault and all up to you. Weak people claim smoking is an addiction. It's their way of blaming someone else for their problems. I gave up cold turkey. Yes, it was hard but I did it. No patches, no nothing. It's a habit. Once you get used to not smoking you'll forget about it.
One thing I did do when I quit was made sure I had a pack of smokes. You'll go insane if you think you want one. If you know you have them you'll be calmer. I found that worked well for me.
