Well, this is a fallow up rant from a previous rant I made early in June. For the people that missed it, I talked about was how my original PC (an E Machine) had spent it's final moments. SO, it died and I was computerless for some time. omg no internet. I spent a week just playing X Box and snagging my sister's computer when she was out of the house. But, thankfully, my mother was nicec enough to lend me her laptop until my birthday. I said my thanks and such, but I didn't know how much of a rocky road I was in for.
I should establish that the laptop I was lent was a Dell. I don't know how you folk feel, but I feel that the Dell computer company is the fucking ANTI CHRIST of computer companies. They constantly screw people out of money with their horrid service and over all slow. Now, there's Dell computers that are good, I agre. But you have to spend THOUSANDS of dollars to get a good computer. No thanks Dell. Rot in hell
Onto the computer issues
-VERY limited Hard Drive. The thing was a year old and had roughly around 20 gigs left on it. It was originally only 75 gigs worth of HD. So, because of the limited HD, I had to miss out on various wrestling matches and events. For those of you that don't know, Puro has been doing REALLY well and I was forced to miss out on it.
-Low RAM. The RAM was okay, a gig worth of it. I managed to get by it, but hte froze up like a bitch on a constant basis. Boo low RAM.
-Built in Wireless was HORRIBLE. Every 5-20 minutes, I was kicked off the internet for an unknown amount of time.Some times for a few seconds then there was the kick off periods that lasted hours. What really pissed off was that it said the connection was very low when I was only 10 feet away from the fucking router. Really smooth operating, you Dell corporate Nazis.
-Ultra sensitive keyboard. Just lightly placing your fingers on a button could lead to a disaster. I left my finger on the backspace when I was writing a speech for my graduation. Well, fill in the blanks on that one. I wasn't happy.
-Using youtube was a nightmare. Well, as I said before, I had to keep up with my Forgein wrestling and couldn't download files. So, i decided that it was the best to raid youtube to atlest TRY to keep up with the changes. a 10 minute clip usually took a good 10 or so minutes to fully load because of the 'low' connection. I don't know how my mom is able to use that thing on a daily basis without throwing it into a fucking wall and stomping the remains.
But atlast! My new computer has come to save me!
The HP I got for my birthday blows that piece of shit Dell out of the water. 500 fucking gigs of hard drive and 5 gigs of RAM. It runs smoother then a babies ass greased in butter. playing WoW on that is a DREAM and because of the awesome hard drive, downloading wrestling/porn is fast, safe and I don't have to watch my gig intake at all.
So yeah, HP > Dell, Dell is a bunch of money hungry Nazis, and people who use lap tops? God bless you, you have the patience of a saint.
