Virgin has some decent stuff, but from experience i can tell you that their administrative things (customer service lines, payment arrangements, service in general) are absolutely rubbish.

. I love how some foreigners rip on America for having such low quality humor. I'll put Futurama, South Park, The Daily Show, and one of the cleverest shows not yet mentioned here, Moral Oral up there with anything in terms of intelligent humor. The Simpsons used to be the golden standard and the 1st two seasons of Family Guy where brilliant. The show isn't as good as it used to be but I still think it gets bagged on more then it should.
Oh and French tanks are faster in reverse than they are in advance. It’s actually a fact

Wow interesting thread.
Once had an argument with an American that because the first mass commerically produced car (Ford T-Model) was made in America, that America were driving on the correct side of the road and Britain was in the wrong. I couldn't really argue with him, mainly cos I was in a room full of Americans who agreed with him. But yeah, I think British people are pretty proud of the fact we do things different than the rest of Europe. That kinda island mentality.
The comedy links have been good. Props to whoever mentioned Garth Marenghi. Someones posted like entire episodes on youtube so I'm currently working my way through that.
As for good people from Scotland, Billy Connolly FTW. He represents!
Good thread, keep those youtube links coming.
