Thanks enigma, I'd heard about it but wasn't able to confirm anything, btw I just realized, I think, all the countries in this thread, our leaders suck >_> I'm pretty sure all of em (Bush, Brown and Rudd) have bad approval ratings >_>...

America is getting Obama so at least it's not soo bad. Anything is a step up from Bush.

England is the best country for comedy, no doubt.

Dark Place, The IT Crowd, The Peep Show, I'm Alan Partridge, The Office, Spaced, along with the classics like Flying Circus, Fawlty Towers, Only Fools, I could go on. Also, Men Behaving Badly, The Mighty Boosh and even The Goodies are good when in the right mood. This isn't so much a comedy, but when in the mood, and possibly drunk too, Doc Martin is a cracker of a show.

The Chaser are quality too. Particularly their songs, brilliant stuff. I don't think I'll ever fully get over The Obituary Song.

The Colbert report ain't shown over here.. though I am aware of it

The Daily Show is edited into "The Daily Show: Global Edition" and is shown on Paramount COmedy (Comedy Central)
