Political Correct Bullshit - So i cant call Shelton Benjamin black now
I’m sick and tired of this political correct bullshit that seems to be taking over the United Kingdom and judging by the guy that called me out for a comment about Shelton Benjamin, it’s also taking over the United States.
I made a comment in the “Give Shelton Benjamin a push thread” in the Smackdown section, saying “Shelton Benjamin is no longer the most athletic black guy in WWE, he has been overtaken by Kofi Kingston”, little did i think for a moment that someone would interpret that as some sort of racist comment. As far as I was concerned it was a harmless justified comment in context regarding WWE wanting to push new black wrestlers to appeal to the minority audiences, just like has been reported and that I feel Kofi Kingston has surpassed Shelton at what Shelton was best at and as such he is lower than Kofi Kingston in the company, but oh no someone jumps on me because i called and singled out Shelton Benjamin as being black and therefore I’m being ignorant or worse racist.
Is this what the world has come to, people getting all worked up because someone calls a black guy, black. It has never offended me when someone has called me a white guy. Was i political incorrect because I didn’t call him an African-American, if that’s the case shouldn’t I be referred to as a Caucasian-Britain, or better still a Caucasian-Englishmen, its ridiculous people are so over sensitive and cautious these days about being P.C., if people just relaxed and stopped being so ridiculously sensitive over such a little thing, then we wouldnt have so many fucking problems in the world.
I know plenty of different people of all different nationalities and race mainly through University that are Black people/African-British/African-American/British Asian/Asian/African/White people/African people/Scottish-Highlander/Welsh-Mountaineers/Caucasian-British people or whatever it has never once crossed my mind to act or treat anyone any different regardless of their nationality/skin colour/hair colour/foot size/weight that’s why I find it ridiculous that because I called someone a black guy, I’m now being ignorant or insensitive or even a racist, unless someone treats you any different because of these things or calls you an outright offensive term then don’t get on your high horses and get that chip of your shoulder and don’t take everything so serious.
I mean come on what’s next:
Does a ‘bald guy’ now need to be referred to as a ‘follicle challenged individual’
Or
What about a ‘Vegetarian’ are they now to be referred to as ‘People who live without the consumption of meat’.
Can I call an apple and apple, and orange an orange, what about a shoe can I call that a shoe, over sensitive people and p.c. politicians need to get a grip of reality and stop sniffing the smell of their own farts, let people who are not discriminating against people, people that are not doing anyone any harm live their lives without the sirens of hatred being thrown at you because you said something slightly outside the barriers of the p.c. garden.
Really when did it become so wrong for someone to call ‘a cat’ a ‘cat’ god forbid i might offend someone in the darkest reaches of Manchester who thinks a Cat should be called a fluffy feline or heaven forbid that i would lump Domestic and Wild cats into the same p.c. basket. Do I really need to give an essay every time and check the internet listings for acceptable terms when referring to an overweight guy or whatever it may be.
In closing P.C. brigade fuck off trying to make something that is meant to be perfectly harmless, harmful, its you people that cause the friction in society, people need to just learn to not take themselves so seriously.

Re: Political Correct Bullshit - So i cant call Shelton Benjamin black now
Fuck political correctness just on the internet. It's ridiculous as hell in real life. I'm so sick of everybody being so damn sensitive and having to be politically correct all the damn time. They teach that in schools now days, my daughter tells me about the bullshit all the time. How you're not allowed to call someone "fat" but you have to call them "obese" instead because fat is such a hurtful word. Fuck off. Seriously. They know they're fat, it's not that hard to see it. But it's not just that. It's stuff like you mentioned. People get offended so easily now days it's just bullshit. There's too many soft people in this world now days. Just like how you can't call someone an African but you have to call them an African American instead because they think that since you're calling them an African, they think you're classing them below you, it's like oh fuck off. If I meant that I would have used a different word or two. Political Correctness = BULLSHIT !!

Re: Political Correct Bullshit - So i cant call Shelton Benjamin black now
This reminds me of something that George Carlin talked about a few times. How people are so soft with their children now days. Is what I mean by that is if your child doesn't win something, they still call you a winner but your the last winner and all that bullshit. It's like fuck the fuck off. If you tell the kid that he's a loser now, it won't hurt him so bad later in life when he hears that word. And how parents worship their children now days and treat them as if they're angels who do no wrong. They use soft terms all the time and have to pump these kids full of "I'm a winner" bullshit and that everybody is special. If everybody was special, what's so special about being special ? If everyone is special doesn't that ruin the whole meaning of it ? People are just so soft in general now days. It pisses me off, seriously. Sorry if I'm ranting, well I guess this is the rant section but ya know. I tend to go on on one. This probably has nothing to do with the subject but it just reminded me of all this.

People seem to forget they have attempted to push Shelton numerous times before but he never gets over and stays over enough to justify a higher spot on the card, in the WWE Shelton Benjamin will always be a midcarder.

God i hate people who take a perfectly harmless comment and take it completely out of context and blow it out of all proportion, get over yourself and take that chip of your shoulder.

I didn't say that because I don't know you like that. And it wasn't a harmless comment. That type of thinking is sadly still very prevelant and when I see it I will call people on it.
But I thought it was a dumb thing to say.

By all means disagree with my viewpoint of Shelton Benjamin, but to call me out because i called Shelton Benjamin black, please give me a break.
