Right I've just spent the last week doing work experience (for those who don't know what that is... legally every Scottish High School pupil at teh end of their exams must do a week in a job they want to do when their older so they can see what it's like)

So I want to be a primary (Elementary) school teacher so I got a placement as an assitant at the school I use to go to. And seeing as how I was in a class with ten year old boys I talked about the one thing I guessed I would have in common with some of them .... wreslting and here we have the lovely thing one boy said when he heard me talking about wrestling

" That wrestler (Benoit) who was supposed to kill his family didn't because wrestling is fake.. I bet you he didn't even have a family"

I then mentioned that it was in all the newspapers

"Well the newspaper people are STUPID, nobody in wrestling has ever died"

me: " There was a guy called OWen Hart... I saw him die on live tv"

Him: "that was fake!! So's that other guy that died a few years ago ( I'm guessing Eddie)"

Seriously.. I know the kid was 10, but how ignorant can you get?

The kid is 10. He is still young to understand death. He thinks that it's a storyline. When he gets older, he will understand what happened in wrestling. It's no big deal.

Uninformed would be the word you're looking for. Not all 10 year olds follow the events surrounding pro wrestling.

I lol'd. Beniot didn't kill his family off screen because wrestling on television is fake IN FACT his wife who was in wrestling (meh can't remember the name) never actually married him it was all a storyline!!111oneone!

YEah I'm serious... I realise I'm being harsh and for that i apolagize.... but the kid just annoyed me. If people are feeling so strongly about this then let the thread die.. I don't want to turn heel!
