Twits and their vehicles
Everytime I turn around someone and their car is pissing me off. This breaks down in a number of ways.
Going to work early in the morning. I'd almost swear to God the police are on the take. The same way in Batman Begins when that mobster threatens to blast Bruce Wayne in front of a judge and a few off duty cops. I drive in for the few 6AM-whenever shifts I get a week and THAT's the time you have heaps of speeding morons flying down the road and never and I do mean NEVER even one cop with anyone pulled over what so ever. Speed limit is 65 and I can be guilty of going up to about 73 mph. That's nothing compared to the people who speed past at legitimately 95 MPH and even faster. Almost as though I'm not even moving on the road. No turn signals, just one quick pair of red tailights blurring past me be it a truck, a compact car, or a motorcycle. I dread every day I have one of these shifts now as I'm sure even emergency vehicles would be as obscure as that would require regular communication with law enforcement.
At home, parking is a bitch. You get an assigned parking spot with your apartment against the building. Everyone is aware of this when they sign their papers and even when regular flyers are posted at every door reminding tenants of this on occasion. I'm tired of giving written warnings, verbal warnings and near confrontations with dolts over this who don't know any better and park on my piece of the pavement. As far as I'm concerned that's like barging into my home, drinking my drinks, eating my food, screwing with my possessions. I pay up on time for what's mine and I sure get tired of other people's negligence. I tell my guests to park on the side which is for tenants with more than one vehicle and guests. I can't even call a tow-truck without getting the office's approval which would be difficult. Calling the police would just lead me into the above problem, not that I have much faith in them seeing as they can't find or arrest morning speeders. I've parked on the side most of the time to give my fiance the building spot and now besides the fools who don't belong in my paid parking place, the side is clustered. I'm about to park in the nearby dollar store's parking lot at night. We've got a truck in that cluster parked the wrong way that NEVER moves. It's missing half of it's legal stickers and the one it has is expired. I feel so much temptation sometimes to vandalize it or move it myself, but obviously I wouldn't be any better than them.
Petty? Probably to some. Bigger problems in the world than inconveniences behind the wheel? Absolutely. But that is just my daily frustration and just needed to vent.

If I were you I'd write a rant about it on a wrestling forum to get over it. People do suck though, I can agree with you on that.

Sometimes it's good to just get it off your chest like this. Good job.
And if I ever parked in your space I apologize.

It sounds like the police is corrupt and the citizens are careless. It's just a case of beating someone to the punch I guess. Sounds like they have been influenced by GTA.
Sarcasm comment-Key every car that's creating problems.

Re: Twits and their vehicles
I could understand why your pissed, also since you go slow to relitive traffic you could get arrested for being a hazzard. do you know of any random no tolernace days. In Sacramento every month or so they have a day where if you go even 1 mph over the limit your screwed.
This seems like one of the things that might seem signifagent in the short term, but is really small in the grand scheme of things.

Re: Twits and their vehicles
Interesting, because I am completely guilty of the speeding, yet I totally feel you on the parking crap.
I normally average around 90 or so on the interstate when the speed limit is 55. The fastest I've hit when I've been behind the wheel is 135 (Toyota MR2 Spyder), while I've been 180 or so in my friend's car. That was freaking scary as hell, I'll admit. A slight little jerk and we would have been dead, but I was a stupid drunk 16 year-old not giving a damn, and at least he's had some professional driving under his belt. I'd kill for his beefed up Supra though.
Now, the parking... I have to go downtown everyday and find a parking place when I head to my classes. It's like a warzone to get one, with people cutting in front of each other. Once you start backing out, you better back out quick and move, or you'll get some choice words from a person waiting on your spot. I've been stuck going around in circles for 45 minutes trying to find one parking spot for my class, and there are about 100 slots availible. I lose it when someone who hasn't even been waiting for the spot comes right in and takes one. On a funny note, I got really, and I mean REALLY pissed off when it happened, I immediately slammed on the brakes, got out the car, and walked over to confront the person that stole my space. I then saw a smoking hot chic come out of the car. What could I say... she gave me a smile, and I couldn't do a damn thing.
