Yeah, it's pretty fucking terrible how people can't take the blame for themselves so the pass it on to video games, mot notably the GTA series. Who actually goes and does what happens in video games?

Compared with shit kids can look for on the internet or evening news games like GTA and Manhunt are like a ride in the park anyway, and why they don't blame the guy at the store who sells M or AO Rated games to kids? or the idiot father/mother that don't know what are they buying to them? it's more easy to blame those evil videogame maker bastards than admit "I fucked up".

I played GTA 3 when I was 11 years old. Since then I have religiously played some of the more violent games. These include just about every major 1st person shooter to come out since 2002, and the rest of the GTA-III era games. Plus gems like Crackdown and other 3rd party titles.

I have a 3.8 GPA and a pretty nice life. I have never done any of the horrendous things that you can do in games like Grand Theft Auto.

It is entirely up to the parents. If little Jimmy is constantly getting suspended from school due to violence...it isn't a good idea to go out and get GTAIV for him.

How on Earth could you do some of the more extreme things you find in games anyway? It is not easy to obtain an RPG and if you are seen with one you'd be screwed anyway. If someone where to obliterate 20 cars with explosives they would not be gunned down, sent to the hospital to get "patched up", and set free afterwards. You'd be killed on the spot. End of story. It would be a world wide headline to.

I've always used GTA games as "punching bags" When I'm pissed off at some of life’s problems I get some cheat codes and unleash hell on the denizens of Liberty city. I know that it is only a game and that if I did things that are in said game...I'd be in deep shit. Some people are not very bright and don't realize this.

It's not the pathetic amount of criticism that videogames receive that irk me. It's the delusional jackasses that demonize them that really light a fire under me. Anyone here ever hear Jack Thompson's hate speeches on Rockstar? Unreal.

Video games effected me, when i was young i was continously putting red shoes on hedgehogs and making them run around the garden, forcing italien plumpers to jump on turtles and shooting hookers to get my money back.

This sums it up, unfortuantly its not patented DestrosSecret original joke
