Well a lot of chavs use it because they are homophobes. It did derive from homophobes but seriously... lighten up.

It's just a common phrase. It's not as if, for example, this thread takes it up the bum and kisses another thread (of the same sex) or something?

I think what he is trying to say is that the phrase is stupid and that we could use a lot of other words to describe something. I agree but I also know that it is such a commonly used word now days that everyone says it whether you realise it or not.

Yeah, people should say, "Look at that, that thing is utterly immoral and only a half-witted buffoon could've done that," or "What the fudge? Did you just steal my wallet?" (Instead of "What the fuck? Did you just jack my money keeper?") The world would be a slightly more strange place though if all people talked like that...

God damn this thread is really gay. Anyway I have no problem with gay marriages either way I don't care that much it doens't affect me my family or any of my buddies in any way. I don't think gay is nessarily a bad thing it is just the way I use the word becuase that is how I was brought up at home and during my early school years.

Don't forget gay=queer=wierd lol I've been in this life for quite awhile now and as far as I can remember gay has been used to say shit sucks. You can't get rid of the term "gay," that's like trying to get rid of the term "bitch." I mean, no disrespect to female dogs, but I love calling people "bitches." Honestly, I thought I knew what I was talking about half way through my post..
