I'm not part of the "youth of Australia".

I think it falls more upon the fact that Steve Irwin was their Australian "hero", just like Americans everywhere still go on about the 9/11 deaths because it was in their own backyard.

Everyone mourns when people die. It's just more "out there" when it happens where you live. If a Canadian icon died, I am sure people half way across the world wouldn't care as much as Canadians because it is someone from their own country, someone that represented them.

You ever notice Hulk Hogan’s got no hair on his chest? Only friend he’s got that DOES is Cyndi Lauper.

Once again, the youth of Australia doesn't understand the nature of the threat of terror. They think a guy who by choice played with snakes and crocks getting killed by a shark while pissing it off for a nature special is the same as having an entire extreme wing of a religion attack a way of life in a terrorist attack that killed 3,000 Steve Irwins. That's why we "go on about it."

Those who don't learn from history are destined to repeat it. If I could think of anything worth attacking in Australia, I'd ask how you'd feel if it got attacked.

I shutter to think what it will be like when one of the 4 men singing about fruit salad die... Or Olivia Newton Jon... I would say AC/DC but I actually like AC/DC... But as for Australia's contributions to pop culture... Well, that's about it.

Steve Irwin wasn't my hero. I'm too old to have a hero.

James Walsh tried to be funny with his - "Would it be in bad taste if I gave an Australian kid a piece of a barb in his Trick or Treat bag?", then starts crying when something gets thrown back at him.

Dude, why dont you SHUT THE FUCK UP... You're probably just some arrogant little fuckhead who doesnt know a thing about life in general.

Australia is far from being a country that has not contributed anything to the world. It's not our fault that we have the American way of life shoved down our fucking throats.

Get a fucking clue about life before abusing people from other countries over the internet while sitting infront of a computer screen.

Anyways, I used to trick or treat but we're talking over 20 years ago. I don't mind when the young kids do it, it's kinda cute seeing these little ones dressing up and walking the streets with Mum & Dad.
Who knows, i might be doing it in a few years.

Just think if it weren't for Australia we wouldn't have the Bionic ear or pace-makers or the lawn mower, so yeah.

My friends dads car got egged as he was driving under an over-pass, it smashed on the windshield and he couldn't see where he was going and crashed into a tree. Stupid fucking kids.

Yeah. See that's why I hate it. All it is is begging. I was at work til 9 last night and so by the time I got home there were none around. Well there were some on the train I just told them to go home.

And for all you lot who went egging last night, you're just as lame as the trick or treaters. Losers.
