I uploaded HBK's great promo in Montreal today, and someone deleted it and claimed that i had leeched it. What the hell is up with this? At least have the decency to PM me and explain, not just delete for no reason.

In the file/link description it had Metz2k in it.

I closed the thread and let you see the raeson why I had closed it (you had leeched it) So why should I PM you telling you exactly the same thing

Depends, if you downloaded it from him and then re-upped in on rapidshare, it'll put his link up instead of yours. Even if you change the name of the folder.

LMAO, you posted the link when it had Mets2K in the description, and still claimed that you didn't leech it.

Most mods will leave the reason when they close the thread, and David and Platt explained it here anyway, so I think they have done their job well

If you have a dispute just PM them, instead of trying to make them look bad.

The closing of your thread was justified.

Even if you did upload it yourself, it might be smart to change the filename before you do so.

I realised I sounded a bit harsh in my last post, so I apologise for that. Its just that DavidEFC and Platt have done an awesome job and completely transformed the Multimedia section, so I don't like it when they get slated.

The thing is though if a mod had to PM every single person whose thread they closed, it would take forever. I think if you really don't know why its closed, you think they made a mistake, or they just didn't tell you period (I resisted saying 'full stop', and instead Americanized myself - even using a z instead of a s there...), then you should PM then, and hopefully they will reply.
