Firstly, we don't torture prisoners of war. We actually follow the Geneva Convebntion.
Second, we have consistend proof that Saddam Hussein funded Al Queda, Hamas, and the Islamic Jihad. They have cancelled checks of money he sent to them.
Also, the Bush Doctrime wasn't just to take it to Afghanistan. He promised to take the fight to all terrorists as well as people involved with them, (Saddam)and to also fight all opponents of what is right in this world.
And wasn't it a great decision for the U.N. to not do a damn thing for 12 years.
Did you destroy the weapons now? How about now? Now? Oh how about now? Can you do it in thirty days? Did you destroy them? Okay, you have six months. Did you destroy them? No? Okay. How about now?
The people didn't decide? Um, so what? Our constitution doesn't say a fucking thing about the people deciding to go to war. It's up to Congress to decide. Check up on it.
BTW, at the time, over 70% of the people thought it was the right thing to do to go to Iraq. So pthpthhh. :P
And please, give an example of where we defied the Geneva convention.
And din't you just love it when the majority of the people of Iraq (I know you Libs love the idea of majority rules) were out on the street rejoicing the demise of Saddam and celebrating their freedom?
Oh yeah, it was all about the oil. lol.
