First off, nowhere (and I have read the ENTIRE bible) does it say if you are a bad person you go to hell. That is a BIG misconception. Now other religions and denominations teach differently. But as far as my family, my church, and my bible you do not automatically go to hell if you do one bad thing. Another huge misunderstanding is that if you are a good person you automatically go to heaven. What the bible says (and I am no expert but I know what I know) is exactly this; If you are a good person and you try to be good and above all YOU BELIEVE IN YOUR "HEART OF HEARTS" that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin Mary, came to earth, is the son of god, and died on the cross so that we will be forgiven for our sins, you will go to heaven, flat out. The bible also says that, again, you believe in you heart of hearts that Christ is not real and did not die for our sins you will go to hell, flat out. Of course there are exceptions, like, you are an evil person all your life no church, no Jesus and you denounce Christianity, but at one point you see the light (so to speak) and you become active and you believe in god and you apologize for your sins, then there is a good chance that you will be saved. The bible says that you will go to hell if you believe in the above. But I believe that if you are truly sorry TRULY sorry for your wrongdoing, I think you will be saved, but that is not guaranteed. That is my personal belief. That can also go in reverse as well, you were a believer then stopped. I will use my self as an example; I have had serious doubts about some stories of the bible ex: Noah, Adam/Eve etc. but never about Jesus. And of course like ever human being I have sinned, watched porn, swore etc: along with other things. Although I have sinned I truly believe (and I am not just saying this) that I will go to heaven, despite my mistakes, because I am a true believer in Jesus Christ. Not a religion but CHRIST. Now on to the bible issue. The bible was not written by god himself. It was written through the power of god compelling people to teach his word. Church another issue, you do not necessarily have to go to church to go to heaven, but it helps. And to the above thread ^^^^^^^^^ “god is everywhere”. Try not to think of god as a person, because that is to confusing, think of god as everything as the air, water, trees, grass, flesh, space, stars, earth. That will help you understand what god is. God was not created, he is the creator and...........it is very hard to put into words, but don't think of him as a person, but as IT.
And as for BDV1 you said “if you believe in something blindly you are a fucking moron”. It is obvious that you believe BLINDLY in the non-existence of Jesus. Does that mean since you made an uneducated, BLIND decision that you ARE A FUCKING MORON? I for one am well versed in the bible, and I will be glad to take on any one who has objections to what I said. I myself find more satisfaction or safety believing in what is in a thousand year old book, than a school book that teaches that the creation of the universe was a giant explosion that, all the sudden, out of nowhere, all the planets came into being. And that the existence of humanity all started with a soup of gunk that just happened to hold all the right components to forge life and did so and over billions of years it evolved into a modern days human.
Like I said, I am no expert but I know what I know.
