Re: Arrogant Athletes

the only bad experience ive had when meeting a wrestler was with al snow at a show last summer at a music fest, him and grandmaster sexay took pics after the show with the fans, grandmaster sexay signed my pic, and al snow said he be back out to sign the pics but after waiting for over an hour, he still never came back out and they told us that all the wrestlers had left and that we had to leave because they were taking the ring down. i also met mad dog vachon that day, and he was fucking awesome, one of the nicest wrestlers ive ever met me and him talked for close to an hour.

Re: Arrogant Athletes

I think it's a WWE thing. When ECW was still around , they did a show here, and while waiting in line, Sandman came through the crowd with a case of Natty Light and started bs ing with everyone, even passing out beers. After the show, him, Dreamer, and Balls Mahoney drank with a few of us remaining guys and really passed the line from star to drinking buddy. My friends would ask questions about the biz, ither wrestlers, etc., and got answers you wouldn't expect a performer to disclose to an average fan. I guess that's the difference between a big corporation and a fan based upstart like the old ECW...the good old days. *tear*

yeah, that has a lot to do with it. Even though when I met Flash he was in the WWE, but then again this was back in the good ol days when the wrestlers would come out during the event to just talk to the crowd. It seems the more "professional" they got, the bigger douches they became.

Seriously, I met the Dudley Boys and Eddie Guerrero and they were awesome. They would talk to you, sign autographs, whatever. I met Rey Mysterio and he was a big f***ing dick! I forget what I said to him, but he just signed my magazine without even looking up. He acted like he couldn't wait to leave. I hope Angle kicks his ass at Wrestlemania and that Mysterio would stop dedicating all his matches to Eddie. He gets pushed to the main event for that one reason alone.

I'm from New York, NEW YORK!!

Re: Arrogant Athletes

It Depends When I met Trish Stratus,She was the nicest person, she signed an autograph and even took a picture with me,Spike Dudley was very nice to me and also signed an autograph but beside him sat a grumpy Big Show who when i said Good Luck with your match just ignored me and signed the autograph,To me he did look very tired but thats no excuse to ignore a fan like that who was just wishing him luck, even though the match is scripted,it makes me mad though b/c when they show footage of other autograph signings hes all happy and smiling and slapping fans hands but the one i go to he had to be a dick

Rey was a dick? He talked to us for a few minutes at the fence after the last SD house show here, as did Eddie, and they were both extremely cool guys.\
