Does anyone actually read an entire thread before they reply? Or are they simply just throwing in thier uninformed two cents in anywhere without even looking at what has already been said or previously posted?
I understand that there is going to be the occasional newbie who may just pop in with a reply without looking but wow is it a pain when there are so many who have already been in here for a while who just don't even see what was already done in the same thread they are replying to. It kinda bugs me a little.

I hate it when people reply to threads without reading the posts before theirs'. The odd new member can be forgiven for it, but when people post something that's already been said it's just irritating.

It's not just the first post he's talking about, it's the people who only read the first post and then go on to reply saying things that have already been mentioned.

Sometimes I only read the first post because I can give a shit what anybody else has to say.

Yeah, I'm guilty of reading the first post then scanning the rest of the thread for a poster who usually has a decent opinion about things, then I reply. I do that a lot in the wrestling forums.

If there's a thread with more than 3 pages (15 posts per page), I generally don't bother reading all the posts.

I agree with Nitemare if there is alot of posts then I just post on the topic and don't read all of them. Lately I also only post most of the time on threads wuth one or two pages.

Yeah it annoys me too One Night Stand. It sucks when you post something asking a question or bringing a new point of interest, and people don't even read it just replying to the first post.

I beleive this could be why so many threads are created, because nobody reads what somebody says half way though a post, so the person who said it creates a new thread to actually get some feedback. Of course i could be wrong, but it's annoying none the less.
