You're not limited to "a", "b", or "c." You can vote for ANYONE over 18.

Re: 3 days away till our future is decided
ok ive read this thread and imo i think that kerry should get in.look at what happened the last time the democrats were in, clinton reduced the deficit, health care improved, employment increased and the world was a safer place to live in. and whos crap did clinton clear up, one george bush. now if kerry gets in i think he will do what clinton did and clean up the crap that george w bush has left behind. since 2001 800,000 americans have lost their jobs, the deficit has increased and the world is a lot worst place to live in.
i admit i am not an american but america is the most powerful country in the world so whoever becomes president does not only affect americans it affects the world. i think that pretty much everyone outside of america would prefer kerry as president but i cant speak for everyone.
however, unfortunatly, i think bush will still be president this time on wednesday. the reason for that is because kerry kept "flip-flopping" and bush just kept on the same path. i give him credit for that. so i see americans voting for him as this is a scary world we live in and the american people want a president that can stand his ground in these times and they dont think kerry can do that. this is the way the race is being portrayed in the uk not sure if its different anywhere else.
oh and just one more thing people who have put in this rant that america dont need allies because they can kick everyones ass on their own, just look at vietnam where you had no allies then you should realise that in these times of war everyone needs allies.

Actually Job Loss has been going down before 2001, 9/11 just didn't help. Nothing that Bush did made job shortage happen. It has been going down long before that because we have been letting too many foreigners in that will work for minimum wage.

Re: 3 days away till our future is decided
we have been having the same problem in the uk with asylum seekers and foriegners working for minimum wage. i didnt realise this was such a huge problem in america aswell, it just said in the paper that it was under bush there had been a huge amount of unemployment, nothing about foriegners coming in. so i retract that statement about job loss against bush.

yea honestly it's just one of those things people throw against Bush to blame him for. It was going down when Clinton was there but no one said nothing about it because his terms was up.

Re: 3 days away till our future is decided
Ok I've read this thread already, and have been trying to figure out for the past month or so who Im going to vote for.
This is what I have to say about each candidate.
Kerry, wouldnt bring back the draft no matter what. However he says he has many plans to help out the American culture and society. Which can be great, but the problem being is that he just keeps talking about the problem and saying I have a plan. Well thats great can u tell us this plan so we know what the hell is going on here. Either he is full of shit and doesnt have a plan or he just doesnt want us to ever know about it. Also with the war, I am against it, but if Kerry just pulls out of it we will look like shit for it. Basically he needs to say look we fucked up and we just want to stabalize Iraq to the point where they can take care of everything themselves. Basically I dont trust Kerry
For Bush- I dont trust him at all. I mean I trust him less than Kerry. Bush has done some things that are good for our economy and society, but he has done too many shady things for us to trust him for another 4 years. He screwed over Gore in 2000, by getting his brother and others to help rig the election for him. He goes to war with Iraq over in reality OIL. I know that before he was elected president he had plans to attack Sadam Hussein. (if you watch Fahrenheit 9/11 you will see) Bush was trying to make a deal with someone from the middle east about a connection for Bush to tap into the oil pipe line thats over there. I mean I like the fact that Sadam is out of power, but all Bush did was get greedier, and put us in more danger. If Sadam ever gets out of prision (which I doubt) he will come at us with everything hes got. Plus if anything else ever happens like us going to war witho someone else, other countries will not help us bc we said we were completely sure they had the WOMD and they didnt.
Honestly I still dont know for sure who I will vote for, but I am leaning towards voting for Kerry
