Gore won the popular election, but Bush actually got more electoral votes. That's why he became President. Gore must've won in more states, but they had less electors. Bush got the states with more electors. Yeah I know you will say that if he got the big states why didn't he win the popular votes. Well beacuse lets say he got Cali956 electors), Florida(26), and Texas(32 or 34), and maybe Il (15), there were a lot of people there, but it was less than in all those smaller states.

There is no way that his brother made them recount. There is no proof. Anywho you said a week later they recounted and found bush won then you said a year later. So nobody is going to believe your shit. No wonder you want Kerry in you change your mind just like him. Even if Gore had won, this country would have been destroyed and flooded with terrorist. Gore wanted to get rid of guns that would have left America defenseless for attacks. If someone was to break into your house you couldn't do nothing about it unless you used something else.

Im not entirely sticking up for pyrmate on this one. I dont think it had a lot to do with the recount. The only thing that was wrong with that was Floridas polling system which didn't allow the holes to be punched properly on a lot of the ballots. However, there was some cheating, which could have been from either side which were a lot of people who were supposed to be dead were voting. So yes there was some cheating going on. And finally There was something that happened with Congress and Al Gore in terms of the election back in 2000. In it there was supposed to be a challenge of the decision to be made, they needed a bunch of signatures from their district, a written statement from a member of the House and a member of the Senate. It was proven that people tried to challenge but the only problem is that none of the Senate members cared to sign anything to help challenge the election

I don't see why people seem to think the better military leaders are Republicans. If you look at our major wars, the democrats seem to have the better record. The only wars we've lost (and I'll even be gracious and leave out Vietnam) have been lost by Republican presidents.

well as of this moment does it matter? it's a close race (according to everyone BUT foxnews) kerry won one of the 3 key states in Penn with ohio in blanace and florida looking like it's going 2 bush. let whatever happened 4 years ago stay. Cause 4 years ago means SHIT right now...and btw if bush wins..there is also one more reason...damn christians thinking (my dad included) that the "World will end" if there is a science based president like kerry wins...that's sad that christians can claim that with thinks they can't see 1700-2000+ years ahead..please
