Ok, I think there is a little confusion here.
People are thinking that "Amish Patel"
belongs to the so called Amish tribe.
Amish is an American follower of the Mennonite Bishop Amman. And, Mennonite is a member of an Anabaptist movement in Holland, which is noted for its simplicity of life.
However, Amish Patel
here has nothing to do with the above. Amish is an Indian name, India in Asia not the native Americans.
is his last name, which means he is from the state of Gujarat in India. The meaning of the word Amish is honest, sincere, and with integrity. It's not Italian, French, Latin, Greek, or English; the name is an Hindi name.
BTW, my name is Amit in Hindi and in English it is written as Emmit.
A little knowledge of geography and history is always helpful.
