Let's talk about when you were a newbie. Did people hate you all the time? Did people flame you? I can't remember, but it was so soon ago. You're no veteran either (just months ago you registered), so you can remember, right? When I signed up I didn't fit in with most people, but I stayed and now look. People who leave shouldn't really stay since they don't want to.

First of all I know i'm not a veteran around here and i know i'm not one of the "respected members", but what does that have to do with the topic? Most people haven't even read my posts anyway as hardly anyone goes in the WWE section anymore, so they probably just judge me on some crappy thing i posted in Anything. What i'm saying is, a lot of the people who get flamed do actually make some good posts. Nobody bothers to take that into account though when they see a one line reply in rants or anything and instantly they become a spammer or an idiot just because they have a small post count under their name.
If a mod or an admin posts a one line comment or even some of this crap like what you have as your title, it's no big deal because they have a high post count or the word "moderator" under their name. I'm not talking about anyone in particular here but i've seen mods make just as pointless posts as the newbs that get flamed.

but when a newbie comes here like WE Champion and rants on a moderator and admin, he WILL get heat. It was stupid of him to do so but he's not banned.

I agree but from most of the posts i've seen, it hasn't been him that's started the ranting. It's normally someone criticising him for his posts or the fact that he spelt a few words wrong so obviously he's going to stick up for himself and reply. If a mod made a stupid post or made a few typos, would you find them getting flamed for it? I don't think so.
I think it's just as bad for a mod or an admin to start ranting on a newbie as it is for the newb to rant on a mod. As for how long the mods have been around here, i really couldn't care less to be honest. I don't know people personally so i judge them on the posts that they make and i've seen a lot of newbies or jobbers that are far better posters than mods.

THIS IS THE INTERNET, GET A GRIP! No one gives a damn if he or she hurts another person's feelings, and that person shouldn't care either.

So i'll just go and make a thread in the rants forum flaming every member of W-E and that's OK?
I come here to post about wrestling, not to have flaming wars and i'm sure most of the newbies signed up for the same reason. Of course, i couldn't care less if someone flames me, but the point is, i've seen people that make intelligent posts in the WWE section that have been practically driven away from the forums because they've made a few dumb posts in anything section and now they're thought of as a complete idiot or a spammer. If a newb made 99 good posts and then 1 stupid one in the anything forum they'd instantly be branded dumb and that's what is really beginning to annoy me.
I could go back to the whole Kreig incident. Here was a guy who people called a spammer and an idiot but at the end of the day he never set out to piss any of you off. As much as i dislike him now and as mch as i'm glad he was banned, he made some very good posts in WWE but unfortunately for him, a few dumb ones which the "well respected" members were soon to pounce on. I bet half of you didn't even see the good stuff that he posted and only had a problem with him because you saw his huge post count. Everybody looked at the date he joined and the ammount of posts he had and instantly labelled him a spammer. Well it's true he did post some pointless stuff but 95% of what he did post was to the point and on topic. It wasn't Kreig that started the flaming, it was some of the higher up members that picked on him for his count so obviously he trys to defend himself and certain members end up flaming the hell out of him so of course he is going to respond by flaming back. Big mistake, the second the newb flamed a mod he was pretty much banned.
Don't get me wrong, there are some newbs that do stuff that deserves a banning or flaming but most of them are just trying to share their opinions and as a result of a few wrong spellings they're getting flamed or mocked for it. If you want people to become good posters, give them a fucking chance. People complain about members not sticking around to post, well i wouldn't want to post on a forum where i have to write over 6 lines of perfectly good english to be taken seriously all the time.
