The Ides of March (most of them joined in March 2014 if I am not mistaken), the new super group invasion angle. Coach was their plant, strategically placed ten months before the clan of warriors intrepidly trekked to the far reaches of the Internet and found the Wrestling Forum as their home. Few WF posters would have believed in the early weeks of the year 2014 that they were being watched keenly and closely by intelligences greater than their own and yet as mortal and susceptible to being banned as they; that as posters busied themselves about their various concerns they were scrutinized and studied, perhaps almost as narrowly as a man with a microscope might scrutinize the transient creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water.
At most Wrestling Forum posters fancied there might be other forms of life online, perhaps inferior to themselves and ready to welcome a missionary enterprise. Yet across the gulf of the Internet, minds that are to our minds as ours are to those of the beasts that perish, intellects vast and cool and unsympathetic, regarded this comparatively idyllic forum with envious eyes, and slowly and surely drew their plans against us. And early in the time that Wrestling Forum historians would call the "Summer of Dib" came the great disillusionment.
And now, we are all like so much cattle, we unprotected non mods, at least, left to our devices of survival, our own abilities to stave off the invasion that threatens our very identities.
They may be "poster snatchers" and it may be that I am now one of them. Who can say? Who can say they have not already infiltrated the highest offices of Wrestling Forum's staff? Is CHAMPviaDQ only "warning" us to make us believe he is not one of them; oh, of course, psychologically, for most Wrestling Forum posters, his broaching of this subject makes him beyond reproach. Yet I know how devious these invaders work, I have seen their kind before, through the infinite reaches of the Internet, and I know that the time for words is nearly at an end and the time for weapons is fast approaching.
May God have mercy on all of us.
