Delusional Daniel Bryan fans and the suffering product
I'm a Daniel Bryan fan, I'm sure most of the people here are two, it appears there's two types though:
1. The guy that enjoys his work, looks forward to his promo's, and typically doesn't have much bad to say about the guy
2. The guy that posts here all day about how they are upset Bryan isn't receiving super man like booking and feels that if Daniel Bryan is in any sort of angle besides world title matches, it is a massive grave injustice.... but they will still keep watching the show
The second group has grown stronger, although to be fair, some of these guys may be really clever trolls. That being said, seeing people get upset about the thought of Daniel Bryan putting over other people, instead of being the champ himself, is starting to get a little silly. OK, he didn't get a title run, I agree that sucks, but if he did, the product likely wouldn't be that much better right now. First, who would he actually be feuding with? Ryback? Mark Henry? He's been dealing with Orton for 3 months, nobody wants to see a 4th match up. Beyond that, I think people believe HHH is reading these forums, and if they make enough posts, he may see them or something.
Second, the guy still receives very strong booking and is made to look like one of the top baby faces in the company. This feud with the Wyatts is fresh, they get reaction from the crowd and look like a talented group.... sure Bryan didn't get the belt, but saying that he should be above elevating new talent is kind of silly. Either way it's a fresh angle and we finally see someone that can stand up to the Wyatts.
Besides that, the creative team has been awful lately - if Bryan had the belt I honestly do not see any reason to believe the product would be better right now. I've never seen people so upset that a guy who still receives solid booking but isn't the world champ at the moment. Hell even with someone like Mick Foley, when he won the titles, fans were just happy, even when his reigns were very short people were just glad he got the belt.
Long story short, simmer down with the rabid fanboyism plz!
Not keeping it real in the streets
