@jac. pointing out a potential problem before it becomes a problem.. People here are very critical of critques that potentially could help.

Ill just keep my thoughts to myself from now on.

Jac, you should implement what I did with WWC, and make it a rule that you must have 2 different picks to your opponent. First in, best dressed, and it's your obligation to ensure that there are 2 different.

Prevents the copying of picks nonsense that can plague the game.

Also, for champions advantage, rather than a 9th pick, how about a 10% loading to the overall score? Say Martini scores 120 overall, he gets the champ advantage of 12, thus finishing with 132 overall. It's the fairest option as it still provides the challenger with a window to win.

I wonder how the team of Nelson King and Bangarang are getting on at Legacy.

I like both of these ideas a lot.

What does the rest of the gallery think?

Nah, no worries. I appreciate the suggestions. Like I said, we have to constantly be changing when we discover potential issues. It's better that people speak up about it than keep quiet.

I disagree with the first one. Some of us have pretty hectic schedules and work commitments and can't always post picks right away. Implementing this rule would prevent those of us from picking who we want.

Also, with respect, it's not like results and new threads are up on a certain day every time, so we never know when to expect them and thus went to post them.

I hope that makes sense.

Also, a 120% rule can be manipulated just as easily as the extra pick rule. If you post the same picks a your opponent you are guaranteed to win.

That rule could work better with regards to titles changing hands on a sensible amount of times, but not as a solution to picking the same picks. Which in fairness hasn't really been a problem. I only remember one incident and that wasn't a title match, it was a tag match and didn't effect the outcome anyway.

We can tell if someone is copying picks on a regular basis, and if someone is, we can stop them. Don't see the need for change personally.

I have to agree with DiabeticDave on the first idea. The "first come, first serve idea" is unfair. It would also mean that we have to keep an eye on the forum from when the spoilers of Smackdown are know in the hope we're there when Liberty makes the thread.

The people having the same picks problem has been brought up many times in the almost one year we haven been playing this, but there's not been an incident were there was actally a problem. The "gentlemens agreement" has been followed to date, and I think if there was a problem with a person copying, this person would be called out by the rest. If the problem keeps happening, we could give a warning, a punishment or even boot him from the game.

I'm on board for the championship advantage idea. I'm not sure if 120% is the solution, I was more thinking about one of your picks gets another 50% of his points (If Cena scores 30 points, you get another 15). I'm just throwing it out there, but I do agree the current rule in unfair to challengers. (Plus if the rule changes, chances are my reign will never be matched )

Yeah, to clarify I'd be on board with a change to the title match system. Not sure I made it clear, I just don't see that changing the 'gentlemans agreement' as so far it hasn't been a problem. Any identical picks have been accidents bar from the one incident I mentioned.

We're all in it for fun, and cheating takes the fun away, so far everyone's obliged.

I like this idea. But I think it should be a set 1 of your picks gets the extra 50% so either the champ can pick 1 when they make their picks or whichever scored the lowest. Something like that. I wouldn't say whoever scores the most gets another 50% added because they may also be unfair.

But I always thought the champ getting an extra pick was unfair and probably why so few title changes happen.
