Okay, so since Raw/SD! was taped in London this week and already happened, there is not much point in doing a show this week. We'll take another week off and continue discussing the champion's advantage.
My problem with 10% is that, during PPV weeks -- which is when titles are usually defended -- 10% can mean 20 points or more. That's just as good, if not better, than a 9th pick.
Perhaps 5% would be more practical. It gives the champ a small advantage to help him retain, but nothing so huge that he cannot be beaten.
WHC - your oppent can't pick the current world champions on either roster
This is incredibaly unfair to the challenger. This basically means that he can't pick the 2 wrestler who are guaranteed to score big points in the week.
So? At least you get the same amount of picks. Look at last PPV, would you have picked the ROck anyway? NO. Do you couldn't pick Del Rio but if you picked Ziggler, you cancelled him out. Do the math, much easier to win then allowing the guy to pick a 9th guy.
TTC - both get a 9th pick. The kicker?Tthe champ gets to pick the opponents 9th who has to be a wrestler fighting in a championship match, doesnt matter which one
Will get complicated for people who are new
Any scoring changes will confused ANYONE as it starts. The current one already does.
TV - has to be defended every week, but gets 9th man advantage
Same problem we have now; a 9th pick give an almost unbeatable advantage
So? Maybe you make a rule where the champ has to drop the belt and challenge the next belt up like TNA is doing? But then again, sometimes people win the belt in this advantage. You know? Since he's being fought in every week
Hardcore - 50% of 9th pick
To much of an advantage for a title that's basically there to pass around.
I think I would have lost if I only got 50% of my 9th pick. PS. No title should be there to "pass around:
The advantages DiabeticDave suggested are fair with still giving the champs an advantage. If you feel that you're treated unfair, there's nothing stpping you of cutting a promo and going after the 2 big singles titles, or team up with someone and go after the Tag Titles.
I've been cutting promos for weeks and weeks about getting a better title shot. It's not like I really want to be the Hardcore champion anyway.
